Markie is our beautiful Cowboy x Scout daughter. As you can see she is a beautiful black brindle with rich red stripes, and actually she bears a strong resemblance to her her grand dam Siren.  Markie has beautiful breed type with her headpiece that forms a series of triangles, small forward set ears, deep dark almond shaped eyes, and as you can see has a ton of bone and substance that both her sire and dam are consistently producing.   We are sure that she will make her MARK, hence her name. 

Markie attended the 2006 Golden Gait Akita Club Regional Specialty to be awarded an Award of Merit under judge Mrs. Sharon Weston.  This was Markie's first time out as a special; as you can see she is maturing nicely!
